Our story
The company “Iva Agrar” DOO Lajkovac has been exploiting limestone for more than 10 years. Currently, exploitation is carried out on three surface mines.
Limestone deposits “Ostreš” and “Bajevac” are located on the territory of the municipality of Lajkovac. Exceptional location and good connection with highways and railways have enabled a continuous process of exploitation and justification of customer confidence.
Recently, a new surface mine of the “Bajevac” deposit was opened, which has a great potential for unhindered exploitation. These two deposits occupy about 40 hectares of land, which puts our company in a leading position in the production of limestone aggregates. In addition to these two mines, exploitation is carried out within another working unit.
This quarry, “Osečenica”, is located on the territory of the municipality of Mionica. Exceptional quality and large production capacities place our company in a leading position in the production of limestone aggregates.
High demand for limestone aggregates requires constant improvement and increase of production capacity. Procurement of modern equipment enables constant production and processing of aggregates of about 4000 tons per day. However, in addition to the large quantities of products that are necessary to meet customer needs, it is also necessary to establish the required quality.
As of this year, the company “Iva Agrar” has started a European project in achieving the required quality according to EU standards. Factory Production Control (FPC) is established, which aims to regularly control production with an emphasis on improving product quality. A laboratory for product quality control has been opened, in which all necessary tests required by both domestic and European standards will be performed.
