Quarry Osecenica

Limestone is exploited at the Osečenica Quarry in 2016. The deposit is located in Osečenica near the municipality of Mionica. The production of limestone aggregates is performed using two stationary crushing plants. At one plant, the production of fractionated stone aggregates intended for asphalt and concrete is performed, while at the other plant, the production of tampons for the production of bearing layers during road construction is performed.

This deposit is characterized by the exceptional quality of limestone. The share of CaCO3 in the total rock mass is about 95%, which opens up possibilities for a wide range of applications of limestone aggregates.

Production is organized, 16 hours a day, 6 days a week.
The daily production capacity is about 2000 tons.
The annual production is about 400,000 tons of all kinds of materials.
Certified limestone reserves for the current exploitation field amount to about 8,000,000 tons.
